They just shipped it today via airmail from Malaysia. I have bought some dvd's and vcds from Malaysia before, though those were full releases. I did get LOTR fellowship and Scorpion King about 3 weeks before it hit the shelves in USA.

hmm, no comment
your honor,,,
I had wanted to get some ali g flix up here in canada, {u know , the 51st state }, but theyre only available in pal, so amazon.com.UK was kind enuff to send the pal version. Took about two weeks cuz of the war had just started so Customs was slow to process.
Needless to say, i have that movie in a nice NTSC version, and skvcd it this week....

It is the Academy Awards Screener version. The Academy mailed out advance DVD release of Towers for members to review for casting votes for the academy awards. Well, along the way some people ripped it and posted divx or xvid copies on kazaa and the like. ANd in the far east, some non MPAA member DVD manufacturers have made pressed copies of the academy awards screener dvd.....and every 15 minutes you see "For Your Consideration" pop up on the screen for a few seconds.
The quality is as good as a retail copy.
I think I am going to back it up on SVCD and then wait for the extended box set.........
