Does anyone know if they make 900 MB CD-R's ? This would be great and certainly could burn those 850-1000MB files onto 1 disk that have had to go onto 2 CD's. If they are available where can I buy some. I looked on ebay without any luck! thanks.

99 min long CD are 900 MB in DATA so more than 1GB in VCD.

But there is no that much burner that can handle them.

And there is also 100Min CD (10 MB more).

My player (RCA DRC-220N) doesn't play the last five minutes or so of 90 minute discs, and I suppose it would do the same with the last 15 of a 99 minute disc (but they're hard to find in Canada so I've never tried one). Incidentally, the player will play the usual KVCD resolutions in MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 as long as the disc is burned in VCD mode, it's only failing is not playing 90 minute CD-Rs.

My car player does the same with 90 minute audio discs (I didn't find this out until after I made a half-dozen of them), so I guess they really are nonstandard so don't expect them to play everywhere...
