Apex AD-2100

Well, for all of you who may be thinking of buying this piece of junk, I will be putting it through its paces this weekend. I will try various formats to see how well it can play them. I will also try normal DVD's that I have purchased. If anyone has any tests that they are curious about, then I may do them, time permitting. For the record, I bought my unit at J&R, near Ground Zero (I work in downtown NYC

I also have Apex AD-1200 (I hope it's 1200 that you're talking about and not 2100 which you have in your subject) and would like to know the outcome of your testing. Keep us posted...

NONONO!!!

I had two Apex AD-1200's, and returned them both b/c performance was really bad, and I could not play SVCD's no matter what I tried. The AD-2100 is a brand new unit with more features that don't work, but I will try them anyway, sorry midiaxe.
