here is my problem

i converted a divx to mpeg1 to burn onto 1 80 min cd
i used movie stacker and tok which done the process ok for me and i previewed the end result in Power DVD and it all went smoothly as i wanted

after burning and playing on my dvd player the movie 'jerked' every few seconds or so.
I tried burning with vcd easy and also with nero but still it was the same.

I have used the same cd's for movies before which i have burnt and they have all run ok on my dvd player.

any ideas what is causing the jerkiness when i burn to disc?

thanks

Did you try the KVCD compatibility image CD to test your DVD player, and verify what resolutions it plays

no i hadnt done that, cheers

just tested it

kvcd-ulbr
kvcd-lbr
kvcd-352x240 PLUS

were all ok, the rest wouldnt play

when doing my conversion i have used movie stacker to create the avs script then i have put it into TOK to encode.

i take it this would just be a case of editing the avs script in movie stacker to
GripCrop(352, 240 )

for the better quality
