Both (original and my modified version) don't have any built in resize filter. They just use the Avisynth's resize filters for the job. So the AV 2.5 version should be completely YV12.

Start by discarding the ripping part of the guide. Use the ifo-mode instead of. Ripping just the vobs you might get some unvanted stuff(trailers, music videos...) which doesn't belong to the movie.

They don't exist :D CVCD is just a name that was created by using VBR and x-pass, and then they called it "Compresses Video Compact Disk". That's it :lol:
There are no optimized matrixes or GOP's....

Have you guuuys heard about 2-pass vbr??? Exact the filesize you want. The only disadvantage is that it tooks two times more time than encoding single pass.
