Great player, but is there a way to stop it from replacing original icons/thumbnails with their "Orange Cone" icon?

Hmm. I've no seen any new icons. Did you update it recently? (Today, I'm guessing?)

Are you seeing these icons on shortcuts for videos which have files extensions that automatically play in VLC? You can remove these in VLC so they are played by the default program. Of course, in the future you would have to right-click on these files to open with VLC.

Or, maybe there is an issue with the icon database.
