I know there's a number of people here using Windows Bootcamp partitions on their Macs. I wanted to give a shout out for Twocanoes program Winclone 7. Time Machine and Carbon Copy Cloner don't back up the Bootcamp partition, and this program is the perfect solution. Right now if you are using Winclone 6 or earlier, upgrade for 50% off by using coupon code 3F3FC057.

I've used this program to reinstall my Windows 10 installation image after Microsoft auto-update totally broke capturing, so I was able to go back to my original known working configuration within a few minutes. Yes, after that all Windows networking is now disabled.

Wouldn't any number of Windows imaging programs have no problem backing up a NTFS partition? With 64-bit Windows supporting UEFI boot, its all GUID partition table these days. Any modern imaging program should handle it without a problem.

Earlier versions of Bootcamp used a so-called "Hybrid MBR" setup to accommodate old 32-bit versions of Windows (ex: XP, 7 32-bit) that didn't support GUID partition tables. I know most imaging programs won't touch them with a 10ft pole since they were afraid of breaking something.

This is a Mac-side program. It'll erase and reinstall the entire bootcamp partition image along with whatever is needed to boot back into Windows. It's literally 2 button clicks to backup or restore.
