I have gotten hold of a Panasonic NV-MS5, but I don't know what kind of TBC it has (if it has any).
According to this: https://www.transfert-films-dvd.com/panasonic-nv-ms5/

It seems to have some kind at least, but I can't find any specifications.

Anyone know what it has and if if the playback is good for digitalization on this,
if it's good i might use it instead of my "NV-SV121".

It probably has a line TBC but being a pro camcorder it will only playback SP tapes.

Edit: I take that back, Actually it looks like a shoulder mounted consumer camcorder and yes it plays back LP tapes.

Why isn't there any information on that in the specifications?
Seems like quite a huge thing.

Will have to try it out, would be great if it's a good line TBC as the one on NV-SV121 isn't super great.
Though as i haven't even tried it yet and it's been lying in a storage for years it might not even work,
but when i try it out i will provide some samples.

That's the first gen camcorder that used surface mounted caps in order to reduce the size, so most likely it has suffered from leaky caps syndrome, The sooner you get it out of storage the better.
