okay here is my problem i put a movie in to watch and it started up fine then it froze i tried turning it off with the power button but it did not work so i unplugged it and plugged it back in it starts up then all of sudden it shutsdown and even as i speak it just keeps turning off and on what any suggestions

From what i have been told about DVD recorders when I have problems unplug it and leave it unplugged for a couple hours or overnight even.

That has happened to work for me quite a bit.

funny you should say that because that was the first thing i tried and it still didn't work so i guess it's just time to get a new one
