So i have been recording the tv show All About the Andersons off TV One. But it airs in 4:3 Letterbox which makes no dang sense to me. If its gonna be widescreen id like to have it cover my whole tv not just the middle of it. How do i remove the letterbox and convert it to 16:9 Widescreen? Or should i just leave it as is??? this isnt high def just SD

Let me know thanks

Honestly, leave it alone. My television upscales just fine via the zoom button. At this point in time, you only lose quality, you gain nothing.
