But when plastic is wrapped in many layers around the object, then it's no different. If it prevents freezer burn when wrapped properly, then it would work with tapes as well. It's not rocket...

Thanks for the reply. I tried both the dnr2 and the older dnr1, both the same issue. I'll check which version of vdub I'm using in a bit... currently capturing a tape with amarectv for another 90...
