No, the Elura 2 will not do analog to DV/Firewire passthrough. The 2 was/is my original DV camcorder. The early camcorders like it did not support this feature.

It might cram the video to digital, but lowers the quality to compressed DV (blocks, lost color), and likely has no TBC for passthrough. So the signal must be TBC processed in a quality S-VHS VCR,...
