USB controller, missing the driver - where to download?

Due to a number of problems, I restored my HP 1027c to factory. All is well except the Universal usb serial controller shows no driver, I tried going on google , got a lot of phony driver repair...

Constant error message pop-ups in Firefox?

I have been getting these annoying error message popups the last few days, " Do you want to view only the web page control that was delivered securely" I have not added anything new . Any help...
