Hello to all!
How a VCR starts after you press the ON/OFF button?
What are the steps that the machine does to power herself on?
This is the thing I don't understand.
Everything started from the following situation.
I now work on a Sony SLV-757 which does not start.
power sup.jpg
This is the power supply.
IC 201, 202 and 204 (voltage regulators 3120C and 3050C) have on pin 5, all have the necessary voltages, on pin 2, 0.8 V and on all others pins 0 V .
I saw that pin 2 on all IC from above goes to pin 1 on CN711 connector, pin marked Power On.
Pin 1 on CN711 connector goes to pin 1 on CN006 connector, on frontal board which contains the vacuum fluorescent display (VFD).
From there it goes on pin 43 on IC001, also called Power On.

There are 5 volts written on the schematics.
Shouldn't there be 5 V on pin 1 of the 2 connectors, respectively on pin 2 of IC201, 202 and 204?
Thank you in advance.
