Wanted: Hotronic SDIPROCAMP SDI processing amplifier

Just curious, is there anything special about this proc amp that would make other more common devices not meet your needs? Since SDI is already digital, it's a little simpler electrically to change values in an SDI signal. Any pro TBC that has SDI in and out, or even video mixers with those adjustments would likely work depending on your target application.

Its special because its just a simple procamp with knobs on the front. Small footprint. Its a nice to have, I don't need a high end pro broadcast $5-10k device for that. Are you aware of any under $1k pro TBC that supports SD SDI that has proc amp features with knobs on the front not buried in menus?

Basically you'd press the button on the front for the setting you want to adjust and it's all just the one knob to move things.

Even though it is a format converter, you can set it to do NTSC to NTSC. Also has YC delay, masking of lines (useful to hide head switching noise in realtime)

Not sure what your intended budget is though. They are big and heavy, but they can do a lot including being your ADC (taking S-Video or composite as an input and outputting SDI). I haven't really tested mine for line TBC functionality, but they do work as frame TBCs. Also has legalizer functions, noise reduction options, etc.

Probably not what you're looking for if you absolutely need it to be compact/silent/or you want a dedicated knob for each proc amp adjustment.
