Which text in my photos is the marking, code of the video head for JVC HR-S7722? Maybe none?
I am asking in the context of my thoughts about the possibility of purchasing such thing.

None of them.

For example HR-S7600:
Upper drum: LP20616-005A
Drum sub assy: LP20617-011A

I wonder they used different drum in 7722?
I got 7722, nice deck (after PS recap) but absolutely no service info.
At least for particular deck (and 7711 too).

What is wrong with heads?
If they are dead better find another deck and keep this for spares.

What popular, resource-rich websites offering heads do you (forum users) know of?

Probably heads are not fully "alive". Maybe I'll write more about it someday.

My experience with new drum findings always was negative. When I tried to find new upper cylinder for some Panasonic, I wound there are lot of models available but not what I need. And when correct new drum appears it cost as much as 2 VCRs in mint condition. And you never can be sure heads is the only problem you have.

I got a jvc hr-s7600ms (s-vhs) mech i just kept it for parts 'till now (broken board). That's a 6 heads drum , non dynamic drum (standard) , 11 pins for the drum / 5 pins for the motor. Pal-Secam deck. If interested hit the pm button.
