Hello, good afternoon.
For those more technically inclined, my VHS player is broken, and I'm looking for a replacement head for my JVC HRS-5912u S-VHS player.

Does anyone know how to start searching for this head model?

Regards

A used head will probably cost a good deal of the price of getting a replacement machine of the same model and there's some risk of damaging the ribbon connector on it when you go to swap it out.

Not sure if I have a 5912 unit, but maybe. What's your budget for just the drum? I wouldn't be surprised if the 3911 used the same head drum and those can be found for a little less.
