So I read that a guy in this forum succeded to bypass vhs macrovision, vhs to a dvd recorder using these cheap mini converters.

So I just recieved mine last week.
Hooked it up between vhs and dvd recorder.
Live in a pal counttry. vhs is pal, dvd is pal, and set the converter to pal.

Now it just show a color test bar picture and says no signal.

What am I doing wrong? Thus this mean its broken? or do I have to change some settings on either the vhs or dvd machine?? Resolution maybe??
on youtube many others have reported that they only recieve at color test bar picture

Please help

No.

Bypassing anti-copy (Macrovision, etc) requires an external framesync (full frame) TBC.
Those cheap items will never work properly, or at all.
