Hi, I have the 9700 Pro with everything that came in the box in pristine condition but no original installation CD. Does anyone happen to have the original CD or ISO for this card?

I'm currently using it with the available ISO drivers and MMC from this website with no problems, but I run into problems when I USE VirtualDub, after a few minutes of capturing AVI from VHS the screen goes dark and I have to restart. I suspect I need the original drivers that came with the CD along with the MMC version for this card. I have searched online far and wide and have not been successful.

With MMC 8.7 everything is stable but I would like to use VirtualDub to capture AVI and with MMC and I suspect the ATI card drivers installed are not the correct version. I have uninstalled and reinstalled VirtualDub with same results.

This is my setup:

Win XP SP2
Motherboard ASUS P5PE-VM
RAM: 2GB PC3200 GSKILL (F2-6400CL5D-2GBNQ) running at 354 Mhz
CPU: Core 2 Duo e6700 with good cooling running at 2.66 Ghz
HDD: SATA 1 TB Seagate
AGP ATI AIW 9700 Pro 128M
Turtle Beach sound card, (with internal sound card disabled in BIOS)

I capture analog AVI or MPEG2 via S-Video or Composite using S-VHS using VCR Mitsubishi HS-U748. I don't own a TBC and given that the recommended green AVT-8710s are over 1000dls or not available, they're out of my budget. The current capture quality is good.

VCR HS-U748 using S-Video====> ATI AIW 9700 Pro=====> Windows XP SP2 computer MMC 8.7

The below paragraphs are just further information:

when I use the same tape in a different windows 10 computer capturing with a Sony camcorder DCR-TRV730 as in the following setup, the quality apparently seems better, but I would like to capture AVI in analog using VirtualDub (instead of 4:1:1 using Scenalyzer) to compare the capture quality. FYI, the camcorder has an internal TBC and DNR capabilities on the fly.

VCR HS-U748 using S-Video====> Sony DCR-TRV730 using Firewire=====> Windows 10 computer Scenalyzer

Thanks,
JC

I may have the disc, if you can learn the name of it. For example, 180_########
I have many, but some don't have AIW models attached yet.

Lordsmurf,

Please accept my apologies for not replying sooner, I had lost my login credentials among other issues with COVID.

I believe this is the number of my card 100-713001

This is the information outside of the box:

AIW 9700PRO 128M AGP
NA NTSC 100-713001

Thanks, hope you can help with the driver.
