Hello! I have a Toshiba RD-XS35, and I do plan on using it via ISOBuster to record tapes on to retain captioning data and have a relatively good recording.. but I do wonder if I can modify the HDD to an SD card using one of those SD card to IDE adapter or something of the sort. I've tried it with an 128 GB SD card and a random Amazon SD to IDE adapter in which it hooked up just fine but when it came to powering it on, the recorder refused to so spitting out an HDD error. I've read a few things on here before where people were able to do so but I'm wondering which adapter works so I can use exactly that.

Thanks in advance!
