Hi-Fi audio makes a slight fuzzing and chirping in the right channel

I don't have access to another unit that easily, I just have this vcr to capture on. That's why I wanted to fix this one. I would've used another one if I could.

OK. If it was me I would first confirm the VCRs tape path is very clean. If not I would clean it or pay an expert to and generally check the VCR. Many problems with VCRs can be due to needing basic maintenance.

If you've never fixed a VCR before and don't have the required tools such as an oscilloscope, tone generator and other mechanical tools, and cannot follow the service manual (it has a whole section about HiFi audio), don't expect to tackle this yourself, Find a qualified person to do this for you, Sure it costs a lot of money but still cheaper than keep buying VCR's hoping to find a working one, And quite frankly there aren't many working VCR's out there, Most of them are in their 4th decade of not being serviced, so they are falling a part.

Do you think this hifi problem is even solvable, if I pay someone to fix it, or will it be a waste of money and time?

I cleaned the heads and stuff that looked dirty with 99% isoprophyl, I think dirt isn't an issue.

It can be looked at and they'll tell you what's wrong with it, They usually give you an estimate before they proceed with the repair. But they may charge you a non refundable amount for diagnosing plus the shipping round trip.
