I'm using AmarecTV to capture some laserdiscs to preserve them digitally.
It appears my process is working.
When I record, I'm asking the software to make a report file.
I can decipher some of this. Is anyone here versed enough to be able to give me some more insight into these report files (logs)? I see AT which I have figured out is Audio Track. VT would be Video track. I also occasionally see an IT and I don't know what that one is.
At the bottom of the report, there is an encoding result. What does Av Enc which is measured in ms tell me?
Attached should be two recent logs. This is a capture of the same disc. The difference being one ran to the end of my recording timer and I was able to stop the other one at the end of the material before the timer reached it's limit.
Really just looking for some guidance to understand these. What improvements can I make and how do these particular captures compare? I just haven't found a good resource this this anywhere else. Thanks for any assistance.
