Hi, I was planning maybe to sell my HS-1000 which I rebuild and it's working without any problems. I have few VCRs now, and was kind of wondering is it worth replacing HS-1000 with FS200 ?

Probably, from consumer Panasonic S-VHS with TBC, NV-HS-1000 is not the best: NV-FS200 is highly regarded but is old model and can have capacitors issue, I would consider as an alternative NV-HD950.

Caps are not problem at all I replace all of them with new high quality ones in my VCRs plus other inspection.

Did you test HD950 ?

I was reading and someone put in one of the topics that picture on it is a bit sharper comparing it to other VCRs, don't know about TBC on it how is it processing is it any better than on HS-1000 and FS200 ?

I did, tnx.

I think I will sell HS-1000 and get FS200.

What do you think about NV-V8000 is that combo VHS-S and VHS-C any good ?

Is it comparable to FS200 and NS-1000 in any way ?
