I am having no luck capturing video from my old Sony Hi8 Handycam ccd-trv138(dcr-trv280).
I am using the cable it came with which plugs into the DV port of the camera and then goes to usb to my computer. The computer is not recognizing it. After looking online it appears I may need to get some other cords or a digital capture card?? Everything on the camera works fine and video plays.....just need to get it off the tape/camera and onto a computer/flash drive where I can view it. I am using a new Dell laptop with Windows 11 Pro. I would really appreciate any help.
