Sony Beta SL-F60 displays black & white image?

Hi, I am trying to capture the picture and audio from a beta tape using a Sony SL-F60 beta player, using a BNC to RCA adapter and a Pinnacle MovieBox 510 capturer, however although my TV shows the picture in color, when I use virtualdub it shows the picture only in black and white. Any solution? Thank you very much in advance

Welcome.

B&W issues are generally PAL/NTSC mismatch. It may just need proper settings adjusted.

But the BNC<>RCA adapter may be faulty, comparable to the common SCART<>RCA issues. The quality of the adapter really matters.

The 510 cards also tend to work best with NTSC, not PAL, even if it "does both".

Your title is a little misleading. The color picture on your TV indicates the Beta VCR's color signal is OK.
