hi, i know that rf modulators are used to connect several video units to the same tv. i was wondering if there was a similar item for connecting different audio units to a stereo system. i'm going to be getting a cd recorder soon and would like to connect turntables, 8 track tape decks, etc to it without having to keep plugging and unplugging things. let me know if there is such an item. any info is greatly appreciated. thanks

Yep, they are. Might take a little looking.

If you plan on using a turn-table, make sure the input selector you purchase has an input specifically for this (or your stereo does). Turn-tables require an unamplified input to work and will not work on a regualar input.
