Hello, this is my first post. I know almost nothing about encoding and I just want to quickly solve an issue.

I wish to convert a video to a compatible format to my old LG 32LH510B TV. I do not understand what exactly is the issue and I'm overwhelmed by the subject but I can convert the video using FFmpeg on Liunx.

The TV accepts the following formats:

The video incompatible video has the following encoding

Why I can't watch it on my TV and how I can make it compatible using FFmpeg?

You need h.264 or older I guess.

Your video is listed as H.265. Save it as H.264 or other listed compatible format.

According to the listing it does support h.265. It's possible it doesn't support 10-bit h.265 encoding though (which the video is).
