I've used the Dynamic Noise Reduction (MMX) filter for VirtualDub in the past, like 10 years ago or so, and seem to recall you could adjust the amount of filtering being applied by a slider. But for some reason, whether it's due to Windows 10 or what, the dialog box to adjust the slider only opens for a split second, then disappears right away. It's currently set for (12), but I'm sure it can be adjusted to a lower or higher number. It doesn't matter if I double click on the filter or select the configure tab in the VDub filter dialog box itself, the DNR dialog box won't stay open. Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Can't help with a solution but the MMX filter runs OK here on my Win 10 system with VDub 1.9.11 (Lord Smurf's build). The filter control box stays open and I can adjust the slider.

I can't be sure which VDF it actually is, but if it is the "dnr2.vdf" file, mine is dated 22/01/2002.

Thanks for the reply. I tried both the dnr2 and the older dnr1, both the same issue. I'll check which version of vdub I'm using in a bit... currently capturing a tape with amarectv for another 90 minutes. Hopefully that's all it is. Cheers.

Thanks, Hushpower... that did the trick. I was using the latest VDub, 1.10.4, but 1.9.11, I actually have a dialog box with the slider. Cheers. :-)
