Even if you're online, you're still reaching out to existing and potential customers in some meaningful way. And you do want to be personable as an organization. "In person" is not necessarily determined by physical geography. Even over the phone could be considered "in person" under certain contexts. This spammer is, not coincidentally, essentially endorsing "talking at" somebody (i.e., spam), as opposed to communicating with them. It's contrary to every modern trend in online communication, including the elephant in the room -- social media. If you're not interacting with your customers, you don't have customers.

And "short time" is relative to so many factors -- namely marketing, originality, and desirability of the product or service. Even Google and Facebook took years to generate substantial traffic. The spammer is essentially making promises that are impossible to keep. No reputable service would ever make such a guarantee -- only the spammy ones.

... whoever is cheap. That's a sad state of affairs. Offering quality services, and expecting commensurate pay, is very difficult to do in the current post-recession environment. I have a feel the spammer is a cheap service pretending to be "quality", which is a hallmark of discount services based in India and Pakistan. Note that most spam on this forum (the little that leaks through strong anti-spam measures) comes from India, China and Pakistan.

.. they're cheap. The end. It has nothing to do with some fake idea of superior service in India, or anything else. It's cheap. Nothing more. Much of what you find from Indian call centers is broken British English, which comes across as absolute gibberish to the average native American English writer/speaker. It's not just broken, it's using the wrong vocabulary. You end up with lovely nonsense responses such as "Please be awaited." (instead of "Please hold.")

The day outsourced Indian tech support is superior to European or North American support is the day pigs fly.
