OK...now that I've FINALLY reached the point where I have successfully ripped one of my own DVD's and I'm ready to burn my creation, I got this message in VCD Easy 1.1.4:

[CDRDAO Write]
WARNING: During writing you should avoid to open the Windows Explorer and similar tools
WARNING: CDRDAO does not lock the recording device so that all access action from the Explorer will lead to a failure of the recording process.

I believe it's stemming from the size of the files; 789 and 815 megs respectively. DVD2SVCD set the cut point automatically for an SVCD, so why can't I burn them? I'm using 700 meg/80 min CD-RW's (since my stand alone doesn't like CD-R's). I checked the overborn option and thought that would fix it...no luck.

I tried Nero and I seem to be totally lost there. I get a file format error if I try to load the bin/cue or mpeg files...

What am I doing wrong?

GMan

Being the higly confused guy that I am, when you are using Fireburner (unregistered), can you burn to CD-RW? Do you select both bin/cue files? One at a time?

Also, Fireburner shows that the two files have track times of 6 minutes and 89+ minutes...is there an order?

Help!

The cuesheet (.cue) loads the tracks in .bin so you only have to choose the .cue file!

Go to, fireburner, configuration, device options, recording options tab and there remove the test burn option.

I completed the whole process in DVD2SVCD. The first muxed mpeg file is 789 and the other is 815...I'm using 80 minutes CD-RW's so this doesn't seem right to me...do I have to re-do these files? TMPGen again?

Well, you could of course convert the .bin file to .iso file and burn that with nero, you can do it with winiso!

But do you think that the overall file size is too large? I didn't think it was possible to go over 795 megs on an 80 minutes disc.
