1) I use TMPGEnc 2.510. In my encoded video I can see white dots over the picture, not only when encoding to KVCD, but to VideoCD too. So, this can be only a TMPGEnc problem. Anyone got any idea?

This can't be a TMPEG problem. Check your source.

2) KVCDx3 templates uses "Motion Estimate Search" option under "Motion Search Precision". Isn't a good idea selecting "Highest Quality (Very Slow)", instead of the default value that comes with the KVCDx3 template?

Make sure you have the latest version 2 of the templates. They are ALL set to "High quality" on motion estimation. There is no difference in quality from "High" to "Highest". Actually, the file size is larger when using "Highest quality"

3) I can view some noises all over the wall. It's a good idea moving a bit more over the right the quality bar? Or it's better to increase the maximum bitrate?

The more you increase the CQ value, the higher the quality and the larger the file size. Look on the "file prediction" forum to see how you cam maximize your quality and space

4) The picture seems a bit "soft". I haven't activated any kind of noise filter in the encoder. It's a problem of the TMPGEnc encoder?

No

5) Is KVCDx3 in it's MPEG-2 flavour better than Super VideoCD in video quality ? How many minutes (approx.) can I store on a 700Mb / 80 min.s CD?
|
KVCDx3 will kick SVCDs ass every time
. You'll get approx. 2 hour on each CD with the new templates and techniques.

6) The last question, I promise ... Can I encode to KVCDx3 using MPEG-2 compression and a different encoder from TMPGEnc (for example Cinema Craft Encoder)?

Sure you can, but why would you
