In the past I did a few DivX2KVCD convertions successfully, but now I have several problems.

My source is Two Weeks N***** 576x288 with 128Kb MP3. I can view this movie without problems with media player and PowerDVD, but when I load the avs-script with the movie as avisource I only see a green background. The same thing happens when I open the avi file directly in TMpeg and click on preview.

What's wrong? When I can watch the movie the codec is installed or not?

Another thing is that I get an error message when I preview the avs script: GripCrop: Auto-dection borders failed.

How can i solve it?

J,
what version of divx is it? 3,4,5.0xx? xvid ?
Are you able to open it in virtualdub at all?

If WMPlayer plays it then you may have the codex correctly installed?
Are you importing the audio as mp3 or as something else (into tmpgenc etc... ? )

I made it!

Virtual Dub have interprated the video stream with the wrong decoder. Virtual Dub only showed the first key frame and then only a black screen. The audio came up ok.

Now it works even with the video, after I deactivate the realmagic MPG4 codec.
