Hello

I have 3 Japanese DV boxes to sell made by IO-data.
These boxes are similar to devices such as the Canopus ADVC-100/110, Datavideo dac-100 or the pyro

NTSC only, no support for PAL
I used them with WinDV and they all work fine and are in good condition. 2x comes with the original box and 1x without box .

You need a firewire port.

Asking price: 35$ per device (or 100$ for all three) + shipping (worldwide - Eu based).

Before you purchase please check if a DV box is what you want, please note that DV boxes while they are relatively easy to set up IMHO (as long as you have a firewire port), they have their limitations.

If you already did your research and know you are looking for a Canopus dv box, this is a good, cheaper, alternative to buy.

Feel free to ask any questions

Interesting.

Did you test any of these yourself?

Assuming so, did you run into any:
- OS limitations?
- known Firewire port compat issues, limitations?

I'd never use these for conversions, but I would for comparing DV loss to better cards/methods.

- For sale in the marketplace: TBCs, workflows, capture cards, VCRs

Yes, of course I did

I initially bought them to test against the Canopus boxes.

I did not run into any specific limitations, they just worked the same way my Canopus devices work.

I did not use any of the included software, though. These are probably in Japanese and will surely not work on modern OS
