Whats the best dvd burner to buy for a computer. NEED it asap. I want to go to frys or best buy or where ever will have the best one.


I accidently broke my dvd burner on my computer. Ive had it for like
4 years or more though. so it was time to get a new one. my knee smacked into it when was open and snaped off ahahahah.

Pioneer or Sony (Samsung drive)
Sony internal is $49 @ OfficeMax (or Office Depot, I forget)
Pioneer, not sure on price.
Fry's usually has best deals, look in newspaper ads.

also is there a difference in the burning between ide and sata??

I use both Pioneer (internal) and Soney (external) both make very nice burns.

i got the DRX-840U External. bout time too. burning myself death note vol 2. had the vobs on my computer but was waiting to burn it so i could watch it on my computer. bout to watch it :-)
