Today I accidentally found these two cards in a second-hand PC shop. I already have my Asus cinema with saa7131 chipset and I already use it for HVS archiving. The results ..at least for me are at a good level.
I will be grateful if you advise me whether to stay with saa7131 or these two may be better than her. I read about theater cards that they are quite good, but the models are many.

Thanks in advance !
Can somebody look at the pictures and say something about cards ?
Hi cuci,
this is an ATI All in Wonder 128 Pro 32MB capture card on the first picture. As i remember this is the beginner level of the preferred capture cards. ATI All in Wonder Rage 128 is similar to this but i think it is not recommended. I made a note for myself about the recommended ATI AIW capture card like: 128 Pro, 7200, 7500, 9000, 9200, 9600, 9800. All of them have the ATI Rage / Theatre / Theater chip. I think this is one of the most important part of the card. So any of these can be good. There is an 8500 DV card with firewire but somebody said that i shouldn't mix them, instead buy a separated firewire card.
I don't know anything about the other card.
Please don't trust fully in this information / in me because i am still a rookie. I just repeate what i learnt / remember from the forum members.
The ATI 128 Pro 32mb is nice, but somewhat fiddly. Theatre chips are some of the best quality you'll find. I don't touch those cards anymore, as I don't have time/patience for fiddly. The 32mb graphics RAM is a tad low (16mb is unusable, 64-256mb better), and it's only good for lossless AVI. The MPEG capturing requires MMC8 hacking (the MMC7 for this card had bad flaws), something I did almost 20 years ago, some of the first posts on this site are about 128 Pro MMC hacking. If it was really cheap, and I wanted to build a system, I'd consider getting it.
