I have one tape (so far) that's physically damaged. There are visible scratch marks on some parts of the tape, the roller mechanism appears to be jammed.

I think someone with expertise would need to open it up, "Iron" the tape, or cut out and splice the damaged sections, and capture whatever possible on a best efforts basis.

Does anyone know of a service willing to take on this type of request?

To me, SpecBros is the only company that comes to mind, when the issue is physically damaged media (flood, mud, fire, mold, oxide shed, excessive physical crinking, etc).

For non-damaged media, there is better.
