I have struggled a ton getting the ATI drivers installed and the MMC to a version that lined up with the guides.

What I accomplished was that I got the 9.02 MMC installed and operational, but the ATI TV app does not allow me to hit "record" and I'm not sure why. Considering all the zigs, zags and hoops that I jumped through, I would have no doubt that I have some mixing of versions.

That said, VirtualDub capture DOES work.

My question is whether I should go to the trouble of still hammering on the ATI drivers?

If I need to keep working the ATI drivers, what the best path to follow? I have read through the pinned post about ATI drivers and I'm somewhat lost on the best path. I have an ATI AIW 7500, and followed the numbered files, tried several of the RAR sets and wasn't really successful on getting a 8.x+ version of MMC working until I tried the files from the Internet Archive.

Appreciate any pointers!

Andy

The button is grayed when it encounters anti-copy, or anything that might look like anti-copy --- when not TBCs are properly in use.

And I know that to be the case here, and that aspect will be resolved shortly.

Ah! That's good to know. I had been experimenting with some recorded TV content, and there wasn't any tooltip or any other hint as to what was going on.
