More and more folks area aware of the TBC-1000, but few seem to know about the somewhat more obscure TBC-100, TBC-4000 and TBC-7000 units. All of them work great, for the basic TBC functionality. Even the TBC-1000 was just a TBC-100 with an integrated distribution amp for 4 outputs, in a self-powering chassis. The TBC-100 is a PCI slotted card, drawing power from a computer -- often because digital editors used them in desktop workstations that included computer+video gear.
