I'm playing with ac3 encoding, with besweet, and as I'm tired of low volume, I'm playing with azid/ac3enc options.
For the moment, in my PC (listening with vlc), the options that give me a original nearer audio file are:
- AZID 1:

- AZID 2:

- besweet general: hybridGain

I'm just testing with the PowerPuff grils, and the sound is very near of the original (I can understand what profesor says in the encoded audio, without increasing volume!).

Does someone see some problems with this settings (perhaps with the normalize option)?
What can I do better? What can I try?

You suffer volume problem when doing 5.1 -> 2.0 ? I think anyone agreed that the problem occured only with 5.1 to 5.1. I didn't find a solution personally for this last problem.

If I don't normalize sound, yes: I almost don't hear voices (in my PC), and the general volume is less than the original ac3 (it occurs also with headac3he, doing mp2 or ac3).
I think it's more a personal knowledge problem than a besweet problem, as I never get a 'normal' sound, and I don't find in any guide the correct way... (with besweet: only LFE to LR = -3db and with headac3he, 2ch button, which gives me a -3db in every channel, except left and right).
If doing 5.1 ch -> 2.0 ch, nobody have problems, so I was doing something wrong.
Than, can somobody explain me what parameters he use with besweet?

I use only "Pregain -> Normalize to 100%" (that is the equivalent to normalise under azid tab but it can be used whatever the source type so you don't have to change the settingd each time).
This lead in a "-ota (-g max)" on the command line.
