I know of <10 applications out there that offer Authoring for menu creation however they ALL require "re-encoding" all the assets

What I want to do is to take lets say 4 KvCD's and put them on a DVD and create a static or basic menu.

From what I have read everywhere is to use tools that are on Win to edit the BUP IFO and simply add the new VOBs as new chapters and burn...

Problem is I have not found a way yet on OS X to get this done. There is one app out there but 1. Can't afford it (695 dvdafteredit) and 2. others require re-encode which trashes KvCD's

Any opinions welcome and if you can give me a short sequence to follow to get er' done I would appreciate it very much.

Thank you in advance!

I think they all require reencoding because you're probably using 528x576(480) or maybe 544x576(480).
These resolutions are not DVD compliant.
You need to encode your KVCDs in 352x576(480).
That's KVCD compliant and KDVD compliant.
But why do I get the feeling that you can't reencode your KVCDs to 352x576?
You can only try my advise with legit owned sources reencoding them all over again to KVCD.
