I finally got the size i was supposed to with kvcd templates but now i can't burn them.

Did an 85 minute movie on kvcdx2 template the audio is 77 mb and the video is 711 mb which to me =788 mb after running bbmpeg to mux them together the size is 799 mb everything looks good so far but when i load it into nero as non-standard vcd it says its 709 mb thertefore not enough space on cdr.

Am i missing something,if so please point me that right way.

Thanx

Tom

Hi Tom,

Are you loading it up in Nero with Nero's VCD template
Not as a data CD
I suggest using VCDEasy instead of Nero

Hey Kwag,i used the vcd template in nero and tried vcdeasy and got this

[CDRDAO Write]
Cdrdao version 1.1.5
0,0,0: TEAC CD-W58E Rev: 6.0A
Using driver: Generic SCSI-3/MMC (raw writing) - Version 2.0 (options 0x0003)
ERROR: Try again first, then
ERROR: Length of toc (80:23:10, 361735 blocks) exceeds capacity of CD-R (79:57:70, 359845 blocks).
ERROR: Please use option '--overburn' to start recording anyway.

I did a movie before using a template by bransholme vcd-b and burnt a movie about a year ago but i can't even do it anymore ,i have no idea what is going on

With the size of movie this should fit on 1 cd right?

Yes. You didn't encode with TMPEG version 2.59 by chance
2.59 has bugs. Use 2.58 or the latest 2.510, and make sure you encode as ES(Video 0nly), and encode and mux your audio separately.

thanx for the quick reponse, yes ,exactly because i have red-m's guide printed out and the first time i forgot to click the VBR abd got it on 3 disks,so the next time i looked at the guide and everythin is the same.

I am using vcd eazy version 1.1.1 and nero 5.5.9.14

The file is onlt a little too large so it can't be nothing major i hope.

Sorry for being a pain in the but.

Hi,re-encoded the audio to a smaller size and got it to fit,but i need to figure out whats going on

This is my first kvcd that i got to work and am pretty happy with the results,i'm sure the picture can be a little better but i just used the scripts that come pre loaded into moviestacker.
