What Settings are Used to Burn DVDs with Nero?

Kwag,

I got some great results with your templates, thanks for all your work

My question is, what settings would I use to burn with Nero? I tried your template for 352x480, and my DVD player (Apex 1200) barfs. The only thing that seems to work is your first template with the resolution set to 352x240 which I don't like because the picture seems very soft even when I use the edge sharpen tool in TMPGEnc (set to 16,16). What are the burn settings for your templates? Please advise. Thanks.

You burn with Nero as a standard VCD, but you have to turn OFF compliance checks, in the first screen when you load the VCD template in Nero. I think the Apex 1200 can't play higher that 352x240(28

I burned a compliant SVCD with nero, and the Apex 1200 plays it just fine. I am not sure what the problem is, but I will try varying each parameter to match your template to see what it does not like.
