anyone experiencing or using Nero Cover Designer to print cover or inserts for DvD Cases?
Im running nero 5.5.7.+ to 5.5.10.+ or so...
and when i print out inserts {whether scanned in or not}, the back cover always cuts off about 1/8 off inch of the picture; meanwhile the paper stock always has more than enuff room for the whole cover.

Don El Mero:
While I am not using Nero to create labels and or inserts -using NEATO instead-,, but have a question for oyu: Do you label your DVDs/CDs? If yes, have you by any chance run into problems with those dvds that are labeled or with your dvd player?
Thanks El Mero

I got a labelling kit from Imation
{http://www.imation.com/en_US/product.jhtml?Id=IM_PRD335}
working in a computer store, I tried all kinds of kits.
This one from imation is the better/best one i found thus far.
So far, i've only labelled some kvcd's and all dvd's. No problems at all.
The labels stick on pretty well. The blue box holds the labels and has an
applicator.
Usually, I'd just write the title with a cdmarker. The problem is Nero, when printing the inlay covers, always cut off the pic. I've tried two different pc's running two different versions of nero. Same thing. Printer is calibrated too. Cdcovers.net has a freeware app to print covers--but its more or less geared towards vcd covers.

zTr:

Does the Imation kit comes with its own software? If yes, have you tried using it?
I am trying to locate, and have found them on the web, thin no- wooble labels, but have read that they leave small bubbles as they are placed on the DVD. As mentioned earlier, I am using Neato's, but they are not thin at all...................

It comes with their own, basic, basic software {nothing fancy,,it can be run directly from the cd}, i use it to print out the cd labels only; decent clipart.
Its simple but it works. The labels arent bulky nor paper thin. It's a good stock. Once the label is printed, it is peeled and place face down {sticky side up} on the holder, the cd'r goes on upside down {burnt data side up}, the kit comes with a round applicator to press the cd down onto the label.
Easy as trigonometry. No bubbles either.

Thanks zTr, Neato has its own applicator, which centers the label onto the cd/dvd. Have you compared by any chance the thickness of Imation vs Neatos? I was trying to find an site with such comparisons, but so far I have not being able to locate one.

no,,,but to my untrained eye,,these look thinner than the neato ones...
nothing on the box says the thickness of it,,,,all it says is that they are
premium matte finish.
