Steady recently returned to Doom9 after an extended absence and brought back with him some enchanted dust. When scattered on a clip it magically removes all noise while leaving the details all but intact.

I have "Panic Room" in mind for this filter. It's dark and the DVD source
is noisy.

Definitely try it out. It's not ready for encodes yet, because there's a couple of artifact-producing bugs yet to be fixed. But it shows an enormous amount of promise.
