AM I missing something? Trying to do file size prediction following the KVCD guide. The KVCD Guide says to load .avs file created with Movie STacker with TMPGEnc, but when I try to I get error message that .avs file not compatible or supported??

What am I doing wrong??

Thank you !!!

the berkeley links no longer work, but found readavs.dll elsewhere (wasnt easy) and installed but still doesn't work.

Not sure what this means in the readavs read me file ???

To compile the source code you will need vfapi.h from the VFAPI SDK.
Use the following command to compile under VC6:

cl /MD /LD /Ox ReadAVS.cpp /link /def:ReadAVS.def vfw32.lib /filealign:512

Thanks for helping !

I wouldn't be here if I didn't like the quality of my TMPG with KVCD template encoded video

Hi,
First it didn't worked at all, so I installed avisynth, which told me to delete the readav.dll, cuz it supposed to have a lot of bugs!!
Everything works fine without the readavs.dll, but should I still use that plugin?? Does it makes any difference??

Thx

HI,I'm fairly new here also so i really don't know but when i didn't have readavs.dll every time i closed tmpge i would get an eror message and have to reboot the computer but after i got the readavs i never had a problem again,so if you are not having any problems opening avs files scripts with tmpge i would guess you wouldn't need it.
