hey its semen demon again,
finally, someone agrees wit me, d&c thank u for bringin justice to dese ppl's eyes ... i didnt even need dis forum and resolved all ma problems independantly: a true pain, but worth it. sorry for da obscene things i said, but i never received an aplogy for bein banned without confirmation of whether or not ma movies were illegal downloads ....
ma ripped movies were off purchased dvds, and ma downloaded ones were off ma friend's private ftp site, which he himself ripped off some personally purchased movies. of course, i wont lie, i didnt know dat, and he just gave me his ftp and said here are some good movies, and i expected that he had downloaded em off da internet too .... so im gonna be honest as always, im sorry for everythin .... and i never had any ambitions of supportin piracy, because i quite frankly am against it and know the pains of dose software developers and film distributors.
btw, incredible, i LOVE slicer! so far ive gotten it to work fine, but when i use it with cce, seein dat ma max. cq is 300, i cannot get da right average size i need ... and for good reason! going just above 40 will give u real bad quality as it is! anyways, i think dere's somethin wrong wit what im doin. therefore, ive summarized what i have perceived from readin ur guide in 4 simple steps:
1. Do pings until you find a sample size 10% (roughly one megabyte) close to the reference size. To do this, subtract 10% from the reference size with your calculator. If you get a value really close to that, then you can do a pong.
2. Do pongs (with the recommended value from the AVS script ran in Windows Media Player) until you find a sample size 10% (roughly one megabyte) close to the reference size. Again, try to get a sample size close to the 10% of the reference size you found above.
3. Do a "safe" ping, and write down the output file's sample size.
4. Average the final pong with the safe ping, and if the answer matches the reference size, then that is the CQ to use for a full encode. If not, do a slightly higher pong CQ with a safe ping (offset=0) for it, and average those two sizes out until you get the desired CQ value.
Please correct anything that u see wrong. Thanks in advance!
