Hi,

I have an AVI captured from Mini-DV at 29,97 fps
As I understand, in order to use KVCDx3 template, I will have to change the frame rate of the template to 29,97 and deinterlace.
Regarding the many option ( even, odd, etc..) of the deinterlace on TMPGEnc, which one of them is the best ?

Thank's.

seriously, use the bob filter in avisynth!

im working on a couple of skate vidz and the are all interlaced 29.97 fps. i tried using telecide and decimate, but the original wasnt in film, so no good. i tried deinterlacing in tmpgenc and it caused mass ghosting effects.

Bob()

this filter is great! one thing to keep in perspective is that it translates both fields at a combined 59.940 fps. this needs to be changed to accomodate a 29.97 NTSC output. **WARNING** this may cause slight desync in the audio. none yet tho.
