do i predict 1/2 kdvd with cqmatic as normal, or is cqmatic only for full res. iask, because of course the avg bitrate would be higher with 1/2 res, yes?

CQMatic do not care about what you are doing in the project. You can even use it to do a useless 125*4096 MPEG2 with DC = 11 and Profile = HL/HP.

the only things it cares are minutes and avg bitrate.
