Hi nicksteel,

Encode with the KVCD templates, but change the frame rate in the template from 23.976fps to 29.97fps. That should take care of the jumping on your AD-600A.

Tried that, but it had same results. I have to assume the DVD is ok, just not compatible with my Apex (my only player at the moment). I was wondering if the VBR encoding on the VOBs or some feature of KDVD could be confusing either Smartripper, DVD2AVI or TEMPGenc?

Hi nicksteel !
Because of your APEX try 2 more things :
1 . Lower resolution 352x480
or
2 . Demux an mpg and remux with bbMPEG as SVCD

If all those can't help than ....
No more suggestions
