I have been backing up dvd's for over a year now and have been very successful in the process of learning the ongoing curve of getting the best quality for the least amount of disc space. I have not been very successful, however, at making the new templates work for me. The video is great!!! The audio on the other hand sounds like it is dragging (distorted and a half a pitch lower) and is shifting out of sync. The mpeg file plays fine on media player. The burned disc plays perfectly on power dvd, but when I play it in my Sony 315, I run into the previously mentioned problem. This is the method I have been using:
Smart Ripper
DVD2AVI
HeadAc3he
KVCD Predictor
FitCd 1.0.5 (using fluxsmooth, temporalsmooth, legalclip)
TMPGEnc 2.510 or 2.57
BBMPEG
VCDEasy or Nero

I have used the KVCD x2 Guide as a general starting point, tried some of the sample avisynth scripts and the suggested BBMPEG settings as recommended, but I have had no luck.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Raynaldo

Are you sure you checked "Resample to: 44.1Khz" in HeadAC3he
